Andrew Jukes has made clear that he is interested only in EM and P4, and won't be having anything to do with 00.

That leaves C&L with the entire 00 market, and the copper-clad market, and 0 gauge. All of which is an order of magnitude larger than EM/P4. Or at least it used to be, no doubt the arrival of the new Peco 00 bullhead range has changed things a bit.

The addition of the Exactoscale range to C&L was a fairly recent development (since Brian Lewis's time), so its removal still leaves C&L where they were before.

The big difference from Brian Lewis's time is that in those days the web site worked, and delivery was same-day despatch.
