Hello, I don't know what I am doing wrong but the above error message has come up on several occasions while I have been moving ("twisting" using the mouse) timbers/sleepers around so that I can extend them across a diverging track in one of my turnouts. It always happens on the 7th item after I have carried out the same procedure on the 6 previous ones with no problems. The worst feature of the problem is the fact that Templot then locks up. There are three ways of closing the message provided, a corner cross, one in the body of the message display and an ok button. None of these work . The only way out has been via Task Manager and then starting over again. This has happened 4 times so I must be doing something very wrong but it would be nice if I could get out of the situation without having to reload Templot and start shoving all over again. As a matter of interest where did the expression shoving originate, it has some interesting connotations. Regards, ken |

Hi Ken, Many thanks for reporting it. This is a long-standing bug which has had me foxed for years. See: topic 970 - message 5680 Hopefully your detailed report may help me find it, so thanks again. As a matter of interest where did the expression shoving originate, it has some interesting connotations. If you have ever tried to move a 15ft crossing timber, you would know. If I checked every term against the urban dictionary, there would be nothing left! Finding suitable words to describe everything in Templot has been a constant headache. What's odd is how many ended up beginning with S -- shove, slide, snake, swing, slew, shift, swell, snap. regards, Martin. |
