Hi Everyone, I am contemplating building a Scale7 layout based on the Hull & Barnsley railway c.1910. I have a rough hand drawn plan of the proposed layout, but before refinining it using Templot, I need to establish details of the standard track length in use at the time, together with sleeper spacings and details of pointwork. Despite spending some time searching for information, all I have established up until now, is that 88lb/yard rail was in use, probably in 30ft lengths. If anyone out there, has information relevant to my queries or can suggest where I might find such information, I would be most grateful. Many Thanks, Dave Yates |
