Hi Martin, Think I might have found a minor bug with curving with a Transition S curve. On trying to change the 2nd (2R) radius curve the movement which normally is a click and drag operation now has changed to a click, move cursor (with no visual change) and click again to make the change. It works fine with the 1R radius option and switching back to 1R radius clears it until you select the 2R a second time. I am running Templot on a Virtualbox VM on Mac OS 10.7 and did not experience this in previous dev version, I think.. I could take a screen recording mut I don't think I can upload mov files? I can't reproduce it here, but I'm not using a Mac. The transition calculations are quite complex. If you are running Templot in a Windows emulator it's possible that they are simply taking too long and preventing the mouse movements from being recorded. Try moving the mouse extremely slowly, and see if it makes any difference. How are you changing to the 2nd radius? It's possible the Mac keyboard shortcuts are getting muddled. Does it happen with any other mouse actions? The effects you describe are all user options, but are not intended to change by themselves when swapping between 1st and 2nd radius. Have a play with these settings and see if anything affects or cures the problem: on the program panel: program > mouse action > click-move-click only program > mouse action > button-down (drag) only program > mouse action > allow either mode on the workpad: action > mouse action options > mouse tracking on action > mouse action options > mouse tracking off Those settings have been like that for 10 years. But on reflection now I can't see why they are not both in the same place. I will do something about it, now that I've noticed it.  regards, Martin. |

Hi Martin, Thanks for the reply. I was using the mouse to select the different radii from the menu and tried the methods you prescribed but the same thing was happening. It only seemed to happen with this command but I thought as restart might be a good idea and it had then disappeared! I very rarely us Keyboard commands preferring the mouse navigation.
