You may have noticed two new buttons at the top left of every Templot Club page. It's called "Video of the week" although I suspect a week will turn out to be a very flexible period of time in practice. I intend to put a selection of videos up there. Sometimes purely entertaining track-related stuff from the web. At other times various Templot tutorial videos relating to matters arising. I hope you like it. Martin. |

Martin, Excellent idea. Very good video on the WCML. Youtube is one of the best benefits to come from the internet age. So much more useful than twitter and facebook..... You need to find a video on the ECML for next week to keep the teak brigade happy ! Rob |

How do we stop the video automatically playing? I use Google Chrome on iMac and every page I visit automatically starts/restarts the video meaning I have to open it, pause it and close it every time! Gets annoying very quickly...... Cheers Bruce |

Gets annoying very quickly......Hi Bruce, It is not intended to play until you open it -- and it doesn't in Firefox and Opera. However, Google Chrome is known to be a pain to code for, and Apple have an aversion to the Flash format. I have removed it for the present. regards, Martin. |

Ah, Google the evil empire strikes again, what is it with these companies, can't they just stick to standards! Thanks for stopping it happen but you shouldn't have disabled it on my behalf, I could just use Safari etc for browsing The Templot Club. Cheers Bruce |

Hi Martin Enjoying the video of the week, may I be so bold as to suggest the following offering from British Transport Films? http://youtu.be/Tbv3u06Sq2M Bit of everything here but mostly infrastructure, note the lack of health and safety at around the 20 min mark! Regards Phil |
