HI Martin (or anyone else that may know)

I have found the DXF export and have exported my plan omitting the rails and leaving the ties (timbers). I was wondering if there is an option to "join" all the timbers together with small pieces under the rails?

The reason I ask this is that I want to try cutting out the ties on a CNC machine ending up with custom tie sets to lay rail on. Of course there is a hard way to do it but I was just hoping there was some switch in Templot that I don't know about...

Cheers
Bruce

Cancel this, I just found a brilliant explanation by Martin in a laser cutting discussion how to do what I want.

Hi

Can you please post a link? I tried searching but didnt find anything.
Ill be cutting the ties from plywood using my cnc mill, so any idea for merging the exported files is appreciated.
