I am not sure if this really counts as a bug or just me being pedantic. If I select 700mm as the radius to "warn if under", then make a turnout with 700mm radius, it flashes up red and complains. Surely this should only happen if I go down to 699mm? Is it "less than"? or "Less than or equal to"? J |

The reason you are seeing it red is due to rounding effects -- your actual radius is below the limit by a small fraction of a mm, but it is rounded to the nearest mm for the display. If you go to geometry > radius and curving... menu item and set exactly 700mm, you will see that it goes green. regards, Martin. |

Groovy, a floating point error was the other possibility. Thanks J |

Hi Julia, I have changed the code so that the smallest radius must be below the limit by more than 0.5mm to trigger the red warning. This will prevent the display anomaly which you noticed. In the next TDV update. It's strange that something can remain unnoticed and unchanged for over 12 years and still need some further work. Thanks for reporting it. regards, Martin. |
