Hi I recently changed my printer to an Epson DX4850.

This works perfectly with my laptop running Vista.

When I try to print Templot templates, the first one prints, then the printer stops and I can't clear the queue without rebooting the laptop. If I try again, the same thing happens.Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi Tony,

Do you mean it stops after the first template, or the first page?

To complete the print process you must click either the print all remaining pages button or the omit all remaining pages button.

Clicking the print page button simply tells Templot which pages you want, it doesn't control the print process.

If still no joy, do you have the latest printer driver for Vista from the Epson web site?

As an alternative to direct printing from Templot, you could create a PDF file and try printing that from your PDF Reader program -- output > export a file... menu item.

regards,

Martin.

Hi Tony.
I recently experienced a similar problem with my old printer driver after I had installed a new printer driver for another model, although this is in XP rather than W7. I was able to print one Templot page alright, but if I wanted to print further pages they went into the printer queue but would not print. I cured this by uninstalling the printer driver completely and reinstalling it.
As Martin has already mentioned, it is definitely worth checking the Epson website to see if there has been a more recent update rather than rely on the one that comes with W7 if that is what you are using.
Tony.

Hi Thanks to Martin and Tony W for your replies. I uninstalled the driver and downloaded one from the Epson site and we're working again. Many thanks.
Tony
