Hello, Could anyone identify what types of crossings are shown in this diagram.I am unsure if they are single or double slips or if one is just a plain diamond? |

Hi Trevor, They are both single slips. The marks across between the rails indicate the position of the switch toes (blade tips). Note that the single slip roads form a trailing crossover for up and down running -- the most common arrangement. If they were double slips, the other slip road in each case would require a facing-point lock. regards, Martin. |

Hello, Thanks for the quick reply chaps.They are on up and down lines respectively which would explain the slips to different sides.I just need to convert the complete plan into a Templot template now. Trevor |
