Hi, I have re-started this under a more accurate heading. Progress to date - GWR 2 bolt slide rail chairs, whilst the slide-rail part is coming out OK, achieving a full filling of the mold for the chair part is proving difficult and I shall have to accept that this is going to have to wait until I can try it with my centrifugal machinery (which is currently in limbo), probably sometime in September and even that might not work, so I have to consider going to proper pressure casting - I'll have to save a few pennies up first. The 7mm scale items are coming out somewhat better so the platform support walls will be available soon, as will the resin (non-functional) crossing nose castings and non-functional heyback type chairs for Flatbottom Rail. I have added some photos to my website for the platform support walls and resin crossing nose castings. More news soon. Stephen |

Hi, I now have some more viscous resin, so I'm going to have another go with the GWR slide chairs - definitely better. |
