Hmm. I'm not a beginner to Templot, but the new 2.08 doesn't seem to work for me.  I'm just trying out the new programme and every time I try one of the F keys I get an error message and get nowhere. I can't even exit the programme without doing ctrl/alt/del!! Am I being blonde or is there a fault in the software? I'm using windows 7 on a Compaq Presario which I've used with success designing my layout before.

I've tried doing a print screen but that doesn't work either and I don't have a pen and paper to hand to write down the error message! Help?

access violation at address 00451D34 at module templot-2.exe. read of address 00000004 is the message.

Hi Roy,

I'm sorry you are having problems. I haven't received any similar reports.

I have just checked the download and installed 208b on Windows7 without any problems.

I can only suggest that you try downloading again and reinstalling Templot.

If your system is a bit light on memory, you could try closing all other applications, or maybe restarting Windows.

regards,

Martin.

Roy,

When attempting Print Screen, are you then pasting what you have captured into another program, such as Word ?

Thanks Martin, I don't think the machine is short on memory, I've tried re-starting Windows, so will try to re-load tomorrow.

Thanks for the useful replies. I uninstalled everything to do with Templot, re-installed and it works again. There's a possibility there may have been a conflict with the older version which was still on the laptop; I had that problem with a music program I use.
