Is it possible to globally change sleeper spacings and rail length in all background templates or can this only be done on individual templates by making each the control in turn? I have 130 to do |

I have 130 to doHi Paul, Yes, use the modify on rebuild functions. 2_011611_210000000.png Set up the required settings on the control template and then on the storage box do this: 1. options > modify on rebuild > timbering + lengths as the control template menu item. 2. box > rebuild all background menu item, or group > rebuild group menu item. 3. options > modify on rebuild > timbering + lengths as stored menu item. N.B. restoring the setting as 3. is essential after using this function, otherwise you may get in a terrible mess. Don't forget! more N.B. This function changes all these settings to match the control template: Plain track sleepers length and width. Plain track rail lengths and sleeper spacings. Turnout timbers length and width. Turnout timber spacing, equalizing and centralizing settings. Timber randomizing settings. If you have some templates with shoved timbers, or a mixture of templates with equalized and square-on timbers, take care. Make sure the control template matches what you want and rebuild only small groups at one time. See: topic 1098 - message 6531 More notes about this at: http://www.templot.com/martweb/gs_box_notes.htm Scroll down to the details about the options menu. regards, Martin. |
