Hi

I have just googled Irish 3ft track standards and found that Marc Witten (of this parish) has some info on CDR track. Could you please pass me this info or the book details in which you found it please.

I have to redraw Killybegs, which Wally Watson (late of this parish) was starting to build before his untimely death and his original Templot drawings were lost when his computer died and he did not transfer it to his new one. P& DMRC are intending to finish the project off as a fitting memorial to a long standing member & officer.

Otherwise does anyone have any generic info I could use.

Thanks

Phil

Hello,
If the hard drive in his old computer is still working it would be possible to recover data off it using a Linux live cd quite easily if access to it is possible.

If his old computer was still extant it would be possible, but unfortunately he was put into a home before this could happen and his parents ditched it before it could be retrieved. I had access to his new pc but although templot was on it none of his files were.

I'm also looking for track data for CDR or LLSR. Can't find anything online and have guessed from photos so far. I would like some prototype figures

I have been a member of that site for some considerable time and I asked the question there before I asked on here and the result remains the same.

Thanks anyway for considering it.

Hi Phil

Some time ago the Greenwich and District N.G.R.S. was going to build Killybeg's and we took the drawing from Patterson Book as a basis for our proposed layout, sadly due to my changing of work I could not get to the group as often as I would have liked, so it got incorporated in to another members layout. There are a number of good books which might help you, if you don't already have them. email me on the 3ft group so I can pick up an email address for you as I cant PM you on here.

Hi,

Members here can easily make their email address visible to other members.

Go to:

 http://85a.co.uk/forum/my_account.php?edit_profile=1

Tick the box and click Save.

Only logged-in members can see it.

For example, click my name on the left to see my email in my Profile, and also there is a link to send me an email to that address which should work on most computers.

regards,

Martin.

Hi

I have set my account to enable my email address to be viewed, although currently, since I returned from my holiday I have had problems logging on to it so please bear with me until I can get the issue resolved.

Thanks

Phil
