My intentional is to build my pointwork in copperclad to 00-SF 16.2 standard and then use C&L 16.5 flexi for the rest of the trackwork

How should I handle this transition in Templot please ?

Hi Rob,

Do you need to? You can easily print 16.2mm plain track templates and lay 16.5mm flexi over them.

But if you want to create a gauge-changing template in Templot, you need to split each rail into a separate partial template, and then apply equal and opposite slews to each one. It is quite quick to do, but would be a pain to do lots of them on a large layout.

To make the gauge difference clear in this screenshot, here I have gauge-changed from 16.2mm to 18.83mm.

I did a curved one, just to show it is as easy as on the straight. :)

regards,

Martin.
