My intentional is to build my pointwork in copperclad to 00-SF 16.2 standard and then use C&L 16.5 flexi for the rest of the trackwork How should I handle this transition in Templot please ? |

You can easily print 16.2mm plain track templates and lay 16.5mm flexi over them. But if you want to create a gauge-changing template in Templot, you need to split each rail into a separate partial template, and then apply equal and opposite slews to each one. It is quite quick to do, but would be a pain to do lots of them on a large layout. To make the gauge difference clear in this screenshot, here I have gauge-changed from 16.2mm to 18.83mm. 2_101836_460000000.png I did a curved one, just to show it is as easy as on the straight. regards, Martin. |
