Hi All, Is it possible to change the colours of the transition curve markers (start/length) on the current template? (I'm using 0.82d). My problem is that the default colour is white, which is very hard to see against a white background scan. I've found many menus to change the colours of almost anything else in Templot, but I can't find the transition markers! thanks, Andy |

Finding a colour scheme to work clearly over a background scan is quite tricky. For a normal scan of a clean map you might find the "snow white" scheme is suitable. Alternatively on the default "sky blue" scheme changing to a transparent image may help (on the Background Shapes dialog). With a transparent image the "classic grey" scheme also works well. The problem with that scheme is that some parts of the mouse pointers do not display -- the "cross-hairs" mouse pointer is completely invisible. My preference recently is to do "negative image" on the the scan in a photo editor, reduce the contrast/brightness to just greys, and then use the "bright night" colour scheme. You can see that in this video: http://www.templot.com/martweb/videos/overlay_rough_sketch.exe regards, Martin. |

Thanks Martin! I was thinking that just changing them to red would do fine - I'll try it tonight. Cheers, Andy |
