First off I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! If any of you get Traction magazine, this months (i.e. Feb 2008 ) has a lovely example of a catch point on page 11, top picture of Warship 868 at Lapford. The catch point is built into an existing point's closure rails. I've not seen that modelled. Finally, I was in Hobby Craft yesterday and noticed our Milton Keynes store are selling off foam mats, in quite large sizes for half price. I think they might be suitable for underlay for track, trouble is they are very very bright colours! (but for 3.99 for a a 1m by 2m roll, you might be able to put up with that!). Search for foam roll on the Hobby Craft website, or perhaps this might work: http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/BEST_BUYS/BEST.HTM Richard. |
