My centre lines only show on the Control Template.
I know sometime in the last few months I selected an option somewhere that did this, which is what I wanted. However, I can't remember where it was that I made this selection. Reminder someone.
P.S. This is not the selection on the Geometry Menu.
Please help I want my lines back on background templates.

Hi Godfrey,

Track centre-lines or timber centre-lines? On the screen or on printed templates? On existing background templates or newly stored ones? After reloading a file or while working?

Are you using saved program preferences? If so are you using the option to include the generator settings?

There are several ways to make centre-lines disappear on background templates:

1. design them without centre-lines in the first place, or with the centre-line moved to a different place (e.g. double-track centre-lines instead of track centres), in the geometry menu or the geometry > centre-line options > menu items.

2. turn them off in the generator.

3. for the screen, turn them off in the trackpad menu.

4. for printing/PDF, turn them off in the output menu.

5. for printing/PDF change the colour of them to white.

6. make them so thin when printing at high-resolution that you can't see them.

If they are appearing on the control template they won't have been turned off in the generator, so try doing rebuild all.

For the screen, have a look in trackpad > trackpad background options > trackpad background templates detail... menu item.

For printing, have a look in output > output drawing options > element options... menu item.

For printing, try increasing the line thickness at output > line thickness > menu items.

Don't use the photo-quality high resolution option for printing templates, the Normal setting is fine.

regards,

Martin.
