Not a finished plan as the three way needs doing. But I hope that I'm making progress. What this program can do is really amazing and it takes a bit of getting used to after years of using fixed geometry track. This plan is in O-ml for an area of 11' X 2'4" Sector plate top left. Warehouse and loading bay off three way. Main mill engine house bottom left with low relief mill hiding the sector plate. Sorry I haven't got as far as playing with the shapes. Not even sure I have left enough room for the three way.  Think it really needs a wagon turntable in front of the mill building?? Baring in mind this is supposed to be private sidings any thoughts on this?

Your plan fits into a fraction over two feet width so you have plenty of room for the Tandem. Once you have the 3rd Vee sorted it should work well

Thanks for the reply. Just a quick question. I've used regular v crossings in the tandem. Though it's on a large radius curve templot suggests that as theres a reverse curve it should be a regular v crossing. Have used curviforms on the y and the curved left hand. Regulars on the two model type very small turnouts for the loop. Is that correct? In a yard what would they be?
If the tandem looks doable I will leave it for now and I can get on with printing the plan off and come back to the tandem when I have the time to play with it.
