Hi Martin,

I have a Start.box file which gets loaded each time I start Templot and it puts me into EM gauge as that is what I most commonly use. However I noticed when trying out the new tandem coding ( brilliant ! ) that the info panel reports EM gauge at the top and then further down it says "Nominal Gauge T-55 1.000" 5.5mm:ft". Should that be in there ?

Info panel attached.

Rob

Hi Rob,

Thanks for reporting that. It is obviously a bug, so I have moved this topic to the "I found a flaw" section.

After loading this file, which menu item is showing a bullet mark on the gauge menu? Which gauge is showing highlighted on the gauge/scale list if you go to other gauges...?

Can you remember which version of Templot you were using when you originally created the start.box file?

Please could you attach the start.box file here? Thanks.

regards,

Martin.

Hi Martin,
Sorry I can't remember when I first used the Start.box file for the first time. Each time you roll out a new release of Templot I re-create it so that I don't get the 'Transparent Name label' warning from an earlier version.

Straight after starting Templot the bullet in the menu is against the 'other gauges' item. When I click 'Other gauges' EM scale is highlighted. Come out of that with 'OK' or just close with an 'X' and the menu bullet is then on EM the next time you look.

Start.box attached.

Rob

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the file.

I can confirm this bug, saving a start.box file. It's not anything you are doing.

Will be fixed in the next update (when I have got to the bottom of it :( ).

cheers,

Martin.

Hi Rob,

This bug applies to any loaded .box file, it is not specific to start.box. :(

I will get this fixed. It is only in the listed info and menu, it doesn't affect the track design.

regards,

Martin.

Martin,

No, it doesn't hinder the function of Templot at all. I have only recently actually read what is in the info panel :( so didn't pick up on it before - but then again neither did anybody else !
