Is it possible to export a pdf file with both the Templot design and background shape image?

regards

Steve

Hi Steve,

Welcome to Templot Club. :)

Yes. To include picture shapes in the PDF export, tick this box:

2_230647_110000000.png2_230647_110000000.png

But please note:

1. It usually involves a very great magnification of the original and requires a well-specified system to work. On older systems it may hang or crash the system. Which is why it is normally turned off. Do some trials before exporting your wanted track plan.

2. The PDF file size will be a lot larger, and it may be slow to open in your PDF reader program. Do one page at a time per PDF file, otherwise the file size will be massive.

3. Printing the PDF may also cause problems on older systems.

regards,

Martin.

Thanks for the quick response.

That probably explains the problems I'm having; hanging etc. I'm running Windows 10 on a relatively new laptop although have a fairly basic HP Inkjet printer,

Even when 'pdf created' appears, and I open pdf file, the file is empty; the pages are there although blank.
