Me too. :D Back to my days of using digital sound editors when the right habd was continuous mouse control and the left hand did the main keyboard shortcuts.

Jim.

Thanks Richard, Jim.

OK, I don't want to upset long-standing users who are still happily using CTRL+V instead of INSERT.

In fact there is a slight difference between the two -- if the INSERT option is still on the beginner explanation, CTRL+V ignores that and just hides the control template.

There is also a little-known shortcut CTRL+INSERT, which is the same as INSERT but restores the template label position. In other words, if you have neatly arranged the labels, you can delete a template to the control, and store it again afterwards, without changing the label position. (Providing you haven't made any change to the template's overall position.) Otherwise the label position is normally a new random position every time a template is stored.

Back to the parking bay. If not CTRL+V for exchange then what? I've looked through them all again and settled on CTRL+M which was formerly on mint from current control. I don't think that is used often enough to need a shortcut, so it will now have to make do without one. If accessing the menu is a problem it can also be found as a button on the NEW template dialog (CTRL+Q then M).

cheers,

Martin.

I still use CTRL-V, but only because it still works and I'm a creature of habit!  I'm sure I would soon get used to using INSERT instead. :)
Kind regards,
Stuart

Paul Boyd wrote: Would you be able to add a pan function to that window?  I automatically tried to drag the zoomed preview around and nothing happened!Hi Paul,

Drag-panning now added. :)

I shall try to get a full update release today, after Jason reminded me of the urgent need for it.

Parking bay exchange is now CTRL+M.

cheers,

Martin.
