Phil at C&L has been busy in recent weeks and at Scaleforum he had test shots of the new 3 bolt chair sprue along with added extra chairs and fishplates, with a 2 bolt version close behind

This is the new aprus with 10 S1 chairs, 2 S1J chairs, 2 L1 chairs and a standard and reinforced fishplate (H section)

To my knowledge its the first time the J chairs have been available in 4 mm scale982_300517_390000000.jpg982_300517_390000000.jpg

The test shot has shown up an issue with the L1 chairs which is in the process of being rectified, Phil is hoping that these will be available by early November with the 2 bolt version close behind

Looking at all that sprue make me think that the moulding company should offer some sort of recycling scheme ;)

This issue crops up in the plastic modelling world now and then - much of the plastic in kits gets thrown away even though it's technically recyclable because councils won't accept it for recycling.  Different manufacturers also use different blends of plastic.  It's all a bit of a mess, really!

Whilst the sprue is a bit thicker than the Exactoscale sprue is is very much thinner, I guess a certain size sprue is required to enable the chair voids to fill up properly.
