I had noticed that saving all templates was a slow process and guessed it might be to do with 224a changes.  Your notes, Martin, have explained this.  But when I go to the options tab and try to untick the MECBOX option nothing happens.  Usually a tickbox toggles on and off with successive left-clicks, but nothing seems to shift the tick ffrom this box.

What am I doing wrong, or have misunderstood?

Advice will be much appreciated,
Stuart

Hi Stuart,

Doh! I'm very sorry, I have forgotten to implement the switch on that menu item. My memory is now so bad that I really shouldn't be let loose in the code. :(

I will get it fixed and another release as soon as possible.

In the meantime, there is a work around you can use:

save group and then group select all

On the trackpad that's the group > save group... menu item.

Or on the storage box, the save group... button or the group > save group templates... menu item.

Many thanks for finding this and alerting me.

Sorry again,

Martin.

Thanks as ever for a quick response, Martin.
It's not a big deal, the extra time to save is not the end of the world.  But having a working toggle switch will obviously be better, as and when you can find the time.
As you say, in any case there is always another way of doing things in Templot :)

All the best,
Stuart

Hi Stuart,

On reflection I have now made this a multiple choice, and I think I will make asking first the default:

I will get this released as soon as possible.

cheers,

Martin.

Martin,

That sounds like an excellent solution; as and when you can justify the programming time - I suspect there are other more pressing issues in you ToDo list :(

All the best,
Stuart

Many thanks, Martin, for 225a.  The ability to switch the MECbox facility in or out is very helpful.

Kind regards,
Stuart
