Hi All,
Although I am designing in 4SF, I am using 00/HO Universal UK gauge for plain track.
My problem is that utilizing this plain track always places a bonus timber at the end of it.

I know I can delete the bonus timber several ways but is there a way of not having it as a default setting?

Alternatively can all occurrences be deleted in one action?

Cheers

Godders

Hi Godders,

The presence of a bonus timber is not related to the gauge/scale setting.

My guess is that the bonus timber has propagated from one template to the next as you created them.

To turn it off, click the real > timbering >bonus timbers > remove all menu item. Any subsequent derived templates will not have any bonus timbers.

Sorry, there isn't any global setting to remove bonus timbers from existing templates. You need to make the control on each template in turn, and then remove the bonus timber as above.

It's possible that you have created a box file having bonus timbers on the control template or on some library templates, in which case you need to remove them as above and then resave the file.

cheers,

Martin.

Hi Martin
Thanks very much, I suspected that but I often forget things and I thought I had forgotten how to do it.
It's no big deal.

Cheers Godders
