I have added a small plan as a background shape, and now overlaid a track plan on it, I can print out the trackplan full size, is there a way of printing the background shape full size please

Hi John,

Click this option:

But be warned, it is likely to be slow, and not all printers can do it. Your system might stop responding while waiting for the printer. It should come back afterwards. Go make a coffee. :)

(Make sure you have saved your BOX and BGS3 files first, in case it goes wrong.)

The reason is the very high degree of magnification needed.

Also, if the image background is darker than a faint grey, it is likely to use a lot of ink, and the paper may cockle as a result. Use a thicker paper such as 160gsm if you can.

If it won't do it, try the other print pictures by dots option, which should work on all systems and printers. However, it is extremely slow. You will have time to go to the pub while it's printing (or you would do if it was open).

p.s. You can turn these options on and off between printing each page, if not all pages need the background on them.

Thanks again, I was looking in the wrong place (as usual) tried one page, it is slow but not as bad as warned.
