I am using dummy centre lines to define edges of baseboards but I would like to make them thicker so that they are more visible. I think I remember (but I could be wrong!) reading that it is possible to vary the thickness of track centre lines but they are OK and I know that you can set thicknesses for all line using the output menu.
Can I vary the thickness of the dummy centre lines only?

Thanks

Brian

Hi Brian,

If centre lines have been set as dummy (rather than track), they are treated the same as background shapes on the trackpad screen and in the output:

You can set the colour and line thickness for shapes on the trackpad screen, on the background shapes dialog (above).

You can set the colour and line thickness for the printed background shapes in the output menu.

Note that the settings will apply to all background shapes, not only the dummy track centre-lines. Sorry, there isn't an option to set them separately.

cheers,

Martin.

Thanks Martin
The only background shape on the trackpad is the baseboard outline so that has worked a treat. I don't think I would ever have found that.

Regards

Hi Brian,

It was described here:

 topic 2671

But that was 5 years ago. It can be found using the Search functions, but I'm sorry I haven't yet got round to adding it to the Companion. Along with dozens of other functions. :(

cheers,

Martin.
