Hi All

Attached Are a few photo's I took at Merehead during the Quarry event.
I was suprised at just how much bullhead rail is still in use.
The first series of photo's is a 1in 7 1/2 B/Head turnout.

Excellent stuff - particularly the flat bottom and expansion joint. I don't suppose you found my HMS Repulse Zippo lighter by any chance - the track doesn't look like it's changed in the intervening 24 years!

Cheers

Curious how this last message was altered by the time it reached us via e-mail. "Zippo" has been left out as has the "er" of "lighter"!

Hi John,

The clue is in the last line of the message -- Richard edited his message to add the missing text after he had posted the original message.

Clicking "Send" the first time transmits an email to everyone. Clicking "Edit" doesn't send it again.

It's always best to visit the web site to read the messages in full. The email option is essentially just a notification that the message exists. There's a direct link at the top of every email.

regards,

Martin.

Martin

Thank you for the explanation. I had not read across to see that Richard was (on his) Beam Ends. :-)

I saw it put up on Evil Bay a few years ago. It went for a good price if I recall correctly:-)
