Hi, Having (eventually!) joined this Forum I have placed a shortcut to its Home page on my Desktop. Clicking on this gives me instant access to the Forum - no repeated, sometimes multiple, signing-in as on some other forums. Administrators of these other groups could well learn from this. I look forward to using this forum. Thanks Martin! Regards Dennis |

Hi Dennis, Thanks for joining. I'm doing my best to make it as hassle-free as possible, although there are still some rough edges to iron out. The so-called WYSIWYG posting editor is obviously a weak point, but this WowBB forum software is the only one I could find which allows you to receive the messages in full by email if you prefer. The cookie is valid for 5 years, so provided you allow this cookie to set and stay set, you shouldn't need to log in again until 2012. It might be a good idea to make a note of your password! Be aware though -- if you access the forum on a computer which is used by others, you should log out after each visit to the forum. Otherwise they would be able to access your account and post in your name. regards, Martin. |
