How might one go about creating a 3-way stub turnout? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3f/ThreeWayStub.jpg I know how to simulate the "stub" part from previous articles from Wayne, but I have no idea how to get Templot to generate the three frogs (v-crossings) necessary for a 3-way stub. Detailed notes in this message: message 4150 You need a 3-throw turnout rather than a tandem, so that will require snaking the two turnouts so that the switch toes are coincident instead of staggered. Then proceed as in the video. regards, Martin. |

Now THAT is an impressive piece of trackwork in 11 minutes! You used several features which I didn't know Templot had. Very helpful! I'll definately have to watch that video several more times. [This video really drives home how much of a novice I am with Templot. I'll be happy if some day I can do an equivalent design in 11 hours.] Thank you, Joe |
