I'm finding odd behaviour with templates whose name's contain a : With the storage box open if I select a template and rename it to "cl: up s bend", and hit OK, the name label seems overlaid with the previous name, no-name in this case on the main templot drawing surface, not the storage box. If I then select the next template (with the arrows), then the new name isn't displayed, but the old one. (This also occurs if you use the storage box to redraw the screen, by dragging it over the template, if you see what I mean). No biggie, I won't use a : This is templot version 0.91c Richard. |

Actually I'm now not sure the : has anything to do with it, as I've renamed another with a -, and that name isn't display properly either. But perhaps it's because I've used a : previously? |

I think you will find that special characters such as : and - can not be used in file names. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/177506 may be of some help Bruce Wilson Barrie ON |

With the storage box open the workpad is no longer double-buffered -- the highlighting is simply "chalked over" whatever is already there. That's why you can "rub it out" my moving the storage box window around, and what you then see is what was already there before you opened the storage box. The bug here is that the highlighting is including the template name in the wrong colour -- it should be in the highlight colour, not the original colour. Or else the template name should not be included in the highlighting. Thanks for reporting it, I will get it fixed. It's purely a display problem so there is no workaround needed -- the template name is changed correctly in the box data and as soon as you close the storage box the workpad is redrawn with the new name showing. regards, Martin. |
