hi i model german railways and the standard Reichbahn s49 turnouts use 1:9 v crossing when i convert a plain track to a 1:9 half diamond i do not get the K crossings in fact anything above 1:8 does not show up. is this a bug in the program ? regards vikas chander new delhi india |

Hi Vikas, No it is not a bug but in REA anything above 1:8 should have movable (switched) K crossings. I also thought this was true of the DR also but don't have reference to hand to prove it! Best Regards, Howard. |

In the UK the flattest diamond allowed with fixed K-crossings is 1:8. Flatter angles than that are switch-diamonds (with movable K-crossings). To get fixed K-crossings showing for a 1:9 diamond, click the real > K-crossing options > fixed K-crossings (fixed-diamond) menu item.
