Hi Steve,

There are two different margins to consider:

1. the red trim lines on the Templot pages. They are inside the document size created by Templot. I have just created a PDF with 400x277mm between the trim margins. The resulting PDF document size is 410.5mm x 286.0mm (16.16" x 11.26"). It seems your printer's printable area is smaller than this.

2. the printer's own margins between the printable area and the edge of the paper. Those are shown in the printer user guide.

It seems your printer is showing the "Document Size" as adding its required printer margins to the PDF document size.

You need to start with a smaller size than 400x277mm between the red trim margins, so that the final document size created by Templot fits on the printer's printable area.

Alternatively you can untick the box so that the 400x277mm is the actual document size created by Templot, and the red trim margins will be inside it.

p.s. there are dozens of PDF reader/printer programs and in my experience Adobe is the worst. I use PDF-XChange, which is great.

cheers,

Martin.
