Although it must be good practice to Main - Store and background, sometimes I forget and this is usually when I have delete a template to the control rather than wipe or copy it. I'd love to see a BIG RED BOX somewhere on the trackpad that says something along the lines of 'CONTROL TEMPLATE WAS DELETED'. TH |

Hi Tony, We can't do that because it would be on all the time.  Experienced users are "deleting to the control" all day long. Click a background template and press T. If you forgot to store the previous control template, simply roll back in the register to find it, store it, and then roll forward again to where you were. There are 80 slots in the rollback register, so a very good chance it will still be in there. To find it -- click and hold down the blue left-right arrow tool buttons, or hold down SHIFT+CTRL keys and roll the mouse wheel. Alternatively, if you use make the control instead, Templot will always store the previous control template for you. regards, Martin. |

Ok, Martin, I understand. Did you manage to get a fix for the register problem,'cos I can't rollback to previous deleted templates. I have to hope that I still have unused ones in the storage box. I haven't used Make the Control.. I'll give it a go. Regards Tony |

What happens when you try? Only if you make further changes on the found template you may lose some other recent templates from the register. regards, Martin. |
