Hello Templot artists,
To my shame, I have to admit that I still have difficulties to do a 3-Way Tandem. I would be deeply grateful if somebody could help me with the attached 3-Way turnout. The road to the left is part of a Yard-ladder and is fixed. Corrections could be made with the road to the right. This road may be slide along as well as have a changed V-crossing angel, both in certain bounds however.

Regards
Rene.

Hi Rene,

Good to hear from you. :)

You have made the classic mistake of having the two switches too close together. There is no room to open the points on the second switch.

If you change the RH turnout from a SC-8 to a shorter SB-7, you can snake the turnouts further apart and still match closely your original RH exit (your original in brown):

For some recent notes of mine about tandems, see:

If the above tandem (black rails) is acceptable would you like me to finish it for you?

regards,

Martin.

Hi Martin,
I little imagined that you are answering with all the charge that you have to carry, and now, this is an unexpected pleasure! Are you in safety with all the water around?
And yes, the black rails will fit, and I appreciate your offer to finish it, thank you very much. The big engines are driving to the left and straight on, to the right is going only a shunting engine with ash and coal cars.

Regards,
Rene.

Hello forum community Templot!
My name Voicu of Romania and are passionate H0 scale model train but unfortunately do not speak English and I'm using Google Translate ...
I found great joy this wonderful software for designing miniature railway track points but I did not manage to design a 3-way switch curve so that the smallest radius to be at least 480 mm (H0 scale) ...
If anyone can help me to give me some advice or ask him to send me e-mail project or something ...
Thank you very nice!
Yours sincerely and respectfully
Voicu
