Hi Martin I tried to send you a PM on a non Templot subject a few weeks ago and I have just received an auto reply to that email asking me to join here. As the subject is a little delicate. I do not wish to post the contents on here.

Hi Phil,

This morning my "pending" email folder contained over three dozen emails.

I just can't handle this any more. I auto-responded to all of them and deleted them.

Any more received will go the same way. If it can't be posted on here, I'm afraid I don't want to know.

There is a very clear note under my name on the left. It has been there for a long time. See also paragraph 11 at:

 http://templot.com/companion/index.html?terms_of_use.htm

My email address is incoming only. Please do not send anything which requires a reply.

The only alternative is to scrap the Templot project entirely. It is taking up too much of my life.

Sorry.

Martin.

Hi Martin

I will have to consider how, if I can, reply to this without giving away confidences, as the subject requires a yes please or no thanks reply. The subject is something that you have indicated elsewhere might be useful to you.

As to emails 30 to 40 a day plus spam is about average for me, most ends up being binned, but around a third contain important or useful information, so they all require a quick scan.

Cheers Phil

Hi Phil,

If it can't be posted on here, the answer is no thanks. I don't want to know.

I wasn't referring to spam. Like you I get dozens of those every day and delete them instantly.

These were emails which required a reply, and which I had put in my pending folder over a period of recent weeks.

Just to repeat. I don't want emails which require a reply. I don't want telephone calls. I don't want to be sent any letters, drawings, books, tools or bits of track.

I don't want any one-to-one contact with Templot users whatsoever. It is part of the Templot terms of use for the software and if it is not respected I shall close Templot down.

I know it sounds unfriendly and I don't mean to be but it is the only way I can cope.

This Templot Club forum (and other forums) surely provide sufficient support for the software.

Martin.

Hi Phil,

If you were trying to give me something of value, I would have felt obliged to pay you for it, so there is no difference. But thanks for the offer. :)

Please folks, I don't want anything sent to me.

If you want to say thanks for Templot, there is a Donations button at the top of this page, which helps to pay for the running costs of the web site, software licences, etc. For which I am very grateful, many thanks to everyone who has donated.

Martin.

Hello Phil,
Why don't you sell whatever it is on Ebay and send the resulting amount to Martin as a donation. That way you can get that warm feeling of satisfaction and Martin is not indebted to you.
Regards.

The problem has gone away as said item was disposed off a week or so ago as the donor gave it to someone else due to a lack of a reply from me.

Trevor I don't do flesbay since I had some grief.

Phil
