Hello Martin Yes, me again... I don't know if this is a bug (in either Templot or my computer) or whether it is not supposed to do this (in which case I will swap it to the 'I wish it did...' sub forum). When saving a custom switch, all works well but then when you re-load Templot (either a new screen or re-loading your last work) the custom switches are all missing- although it keeps your last choice at the bottom. It does this for plain rail too. (PS now that I've got the NERA books and putting the custom data it is a very simple process, thanks for previous advice on it- works well) Derek |

Hi Derek, The way to save any setting in Templot is to save a template containing it. Use your custom switch in a template and then store it as a library template. If its sole purpose is to save the switch, you would probably want to shorten it to just the length of the switch. Likewise for any other custom switches. When you want to use it in some other template, use the obtain functions. On the storage box, that's edit > obtain to the control template > obtain switch menu item. For a background template on the trackpad, obtain to the control > menu items on its pop-up context menu. regards, Martin. |
