I'd be grateful for a little help here. I have been happily using Templot v 0.91.c since I bought it in 2011. Yesterday I had a new hard drive fitted to my laptop and when trying to access Templot today, I was asked to input my release code, which I did (using the release code supplied in 2011). Alas the message came back that it did not recognise this machine. Any way forward, please? Bob |

Hello Bob, The old paid-for versions of Templot were withdrawn in November 2011. Templot is now available for use free of charge. Accordingly, lock-release code numbers are no longer being issued. You can download the latest Templot2 version from: http://templot.com/downloads/download.htm This contains a lot of new features -- please read the notes. A long list of the main changes is at: topic 1511 All the functions from the previous versions work exactly as before. regards, Martin. |

Hi Martin, Thanks for the reply. Hopefully I will still be able to access all my past 5 year's work? Bob |

Bob Juleff wrote:Hopefully I will still be able to access all my past 5 year's work?Hi Bob, Yes. If the .box files were saved in the default location you can find them here: 2_181337_110000000.png If you saved them somewhere else you can navigate to them in the file dialogs. The file format is fully compatible. For the old .bgs files you will need to navigate to C:\TEMPLOT\SHAPE-FILES\ to find them. regards, Martin. |

Hi Martin, I am happy to report I loaded the new version yesterday and have since been working on my existing files which I have imported without incident. I would like express my thanks for your help and to congratulate you on the extensive additional functions now part of the Templot system. What was, to me, already a very good tool is now brilliant! Kind Regards, Bob |
