Hi Martin, Think I might have found a problem. I have just created a new track plan for myself, it's fairly basic, nothing complicated. Here are the details: 4-SF Page set to A3 Printer Driver Epson 1290 (M) Windows 7 I just wanted to print 1 page (a10) so omitted pages before and after in the Print Dialogue, trouble is, Templot insisted on printing 4 of the pages before and also wanted to carry on printing after it had printed the desired page. Borg-Rail wrote: Printer Driver Epson 1290 (M)Hi Stephen, Which driver are you using? I have been unable to use my Epson 1290 on Windows7. According to various web sites it should be possible using the integrated Microsoft driver, but no joy here last time I tried. regards, Martin. |

Martin Wynne wrote:Which driver are you using?Hi Stephen, No need to reply to that. I have just tried again with my Epson 1290 on Windows7 -- and it's now working! Windows announced that it was downloading a suitable driver from Windows Update and installed it. Every time in the past when I've tried that it has said "No driver available, consult the printer manufacturer." or some such message, and all the original Epson drivers were rejected. So many thanks for that. I'm well chuffed to have A3 printing available on my Windows7 system. Now off to try it on Windows10. But I can't reproduce your problem. It worked fine and printed my selected page only from a 4-SF track plan. Perhaps you could post your .box file here and I will try with that. regards, Martin. |

p.s. Stephen, In the past I had lots of trouble with this printer when using an old-style parallel printer cable. It has always worked perfectly since changing to a USB cable. Martin. |

Hi Stephen, And now working fine on Windows10 too, where it didn't before. But I still can't reproduce your problem. So I'm sorry I can't provide a solution, but I'm very pleased that you reported it. Many thanks for that. All I can suggest is that you switch everything off and on again. It's important to switch the printer on and make sure it is working before starting Templot. regards, Martin. |

Hi, Sorry for not replying sooner - been putting together some boltless shelving - I'll have another go sometime. Don't mention Windows 10 to me - I tried the upgrade and wished I hadn't. Had to re-install Windows 7 in the end and no the roll-back didn't work either! I'm running windows 7 64 bit if that makes any difference. |

Hi I have been using my Epson 1290, without problems on both Win XP and Win 7, for years now. Cheers Phil |

Hi, I gave up using the Parallel Port eons ago, though if I ever crank up my Roland Plotter again, assuming I can find a Windows 7 Printer Driver for it, I'll need the parallel printer cable that's stored away. |
