Hello John,

If it is only one template the easiest way is to click on the template, and then press G on the keyboard or click group select (toggle) on its menu. Repeat the process to remove it from the group.

But if you have several templates to add or remove, you can use the group > create smaller group > click templates to/from group menu item:

Before doing that you need to have the template name labels on, otherwise it won't work. Press the END key for that.

Which means you are reporting a flaw, so thanks for that. Starting that group function needs to put the name labels on if necessary. I will get that added to the next program update.

Then you can add or remove background templates to/from the group simply by clicking on the name label (not the whole template). The label will turn green as the mouse hovers over it. You can add or remove as many templates as you wish this way with one click on each:

When you have finished, you can stop the function by any of the means used to stop a mouse action - press the ESC key, click the mouse-pointer tool button, zoom in or out, click any menu item, etc.

There are several other ways to create and change groups when you don't want to drag the usual selection fence around them. See the other items on the above menu.

regards,

Martin.

Thanks Martin.

I had managed it before but couldn't remember how!

Must be age.
