I am considering a new model Swiss layout based on Campocolongo near the Italian border. The station used to have two three way points, each with the left hand divergence leading, but they differed in the angle arrangement of the crossings and the radii involved. I would really like to have a go at building these points in 12mm gauge scale 1:87 in code 70 flatbottom rail (which I have).
I have some technical information from the railway about their points and the exact designation of the two points of interest.

Anybody be interested please?

Hi Bernard,

Please post the technical details here. We can then discuss them. :)

Note that metre gauge at 1:87 scale requires a track gauge of 11.49mm. If you build at 12mm gauge it will not be possible to match exactly the prototype radii and lead lengths.

cheers,

Martin.

Hi Bernard,

Yes. Click this button below the typing box:

According to which browser you are using it may say Browse... or Choose...

You will then be able to navigate to wherever on your computer the drawing file has been saved.

You must also type something in the message part. It's not possible to post an attachment by itself.

cheers,

Martin.

Thank you.

I`ll have a go in the morning.

Bernard

By the way. To be really correct the rail to be used should be about code 55. I have some code 55 rail which (I think) will have a narrower head than the code 70. This might help with clearances.
