Trying to open Templot on my Mac which has recently up loaded the latest Mac OS and updated Malware, now it says unable to open this in Crossover as Malware thinks it's not secure or something like that. Any ideas anybody? It was working reasonably well the other week after it lost a load of box files.
Just checked the message is this:“CrossOver-2” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.

Hi Roy,

Your first port of call should probably be Codeweavers Support:

For what it's worth, I have just opened Crossover on my MacBook and it wanted to update to v19.0.1 which I allowed. I then opened Templot which wanted to update to v2.25.d. Templot still runs fine on OS Catalina v10.15.3.
Whilst my success doesn't help you specifically, it does at least show that there is nothing fundamentally wrong with either Templot or Crossover.
It sounds as if your Malware software is being too aggressive and stopping Crossover so would point to that rather than a Crossover problem per se. I don't use proprietary malware programs any more. I spent far too much time trying to fix problems they 'found' that just didn't exist.

Thanks, I'll try looking at Malware and maybe getting rid of it.

Ha, just found where I asked this! I managed to get Templot to work on the new Mac 64 bit but forgot how I done it! I think I downloaded the Mac upgrade again and paid for Codeweavers and it all worked after that. At that time wine hadn't been upgraded to work with the Mac 64 bit upgrade. I understand it has been done now.
