Hi Martin,
when "saving all templates" and asking for MECBOX to be saved, the OK acknowledgement box is hidden behind the Storage Box.
Have to switch out of program and back again to get the "OK acknowledgement box" on top and acknowledge it.
Sequence as follows:
save all templates
save(program returns to screen and )
also export a MECBOX file (6) or make it default (3)
yes, please
Storage Box appears (everything is disabled)

Switch out of then back into Templot
OK Box revealed
press OK
Storage Box re-appears (everything is re-enabled)

Cheers

Godders.

Hi Godders,

Are you using CrossOver/Wine? Try pressing the ESC key (top-left on keyboard).

In Windows that OK message is always on top of everything else.

Have you tried dragging the storage box to one side before saving?

I will look at hiding it before the OK message appears (or not having the message).

cheers,

Martin.

Hi Martin
Q: Are you using CrossOver/Wine? Try pressing the ESC key (top-left on keyboard).
A: No/No

Q: Have you tried dragging the storage box to one side before saving?
A: Storage Box isn't present before saving.
As stated; Storage Box appears (everything is disabled)

Hi Godders,

Could you clarify that?

I have made a bit of video showing 4 different ways to save a box file:

 http://flashbackconnect.com/Default.aspx?id=QgqYM9x-cuEhl5gBvYsKyw2

Which way did you mean (or some other way)?

What is happening differently on your computer? Which version of Windows?

Thanks.

cheers,

Martin.

Hi Martin

I do exactly like your "1" (I have never used any of the other 3 to my knowledge)

except where your OK box comes up mine is hidden by the Storage Box window, which has magically opened. (I don't open it)

Because the OK Box is hidden, nothing else on the screen can be operated. (Modular?)

When I switch windows with "Alt-Tab" and back again the OK Box comes to the front and I can click on OK and everything is back to normal, including the Storage Box, which has closed.

I am running Templo v 2.26.c

Edition Windows 10 proVersion 1903
Installed on 07/082019
OS build 18362.836

The machine is on 24/7 and is automatically updated to latest version of Windows.

Cheers

Thanks Godders.

That's very strange. I have never seen Windows hide the standard message box behind anything else, it defeats the purpose. And there is nothing in the code to cause the storage box to show.

Does the storage box appear before or after the question about also exporting a mecbox file?

Anyone else seeing this?

cheers,

Martin.

Hi Martin

Storage Box appears after the question.

However, I have now chosen 3, make default and cannot reproduce earlier findings.

System now just saves and returns to Trackpad

Is there a way to reverse this default setting, so I can try again.

Cheers

Hi Godders,

The options can be changed on the storage box:

Hi Martin,

I have reset to "options>on save all>ask me first"
and Templot has gone back to hiding the message box behind the Storage Box.

Cheers

Hi Martin,

I have "cycled the power" on my PC and the problem has disappeared.

Thank you for your patience.
