Gordon's use of gaunt turnouts and the thick centre-line option for a mimic control panel, led to a light-bulb moment (not many of those these days, I need to make the most of them ). If the gaunt offset is set to maximum, we have a very useful way to represent a traditional signal box diagram. A facing crossover with FPLs: 2_152308_040000000.png There may be scope here for some dedicated new functions -- even Hornby track needs a signal box. More observant readers will have noticed a new template > design aids > menu item. cheers, Martin. |
