Hi Martin Once again, this probably isn't a flaw but a feature!! At the moment I'm building track and often want to print just one or two pages with specific background templates. The process is:- open Templot, load the box file (and possibly shapes as well) from recent files. I then do the print setup, load an existing calibration file, maybe move the page origin and print the background template I want. When I close Templot, I'm given the warning that one or more templates in the storage box have not been saved in a named data file. Except I haven't changed any templates, not even the control! It seems to be the act of bringing up the print dialogue that does this, as I get the same message if I then cancel printing and close Templot. So, is this a flaw or something for which I've entirely missed the purpose? Cheers, Paul |

Paul Boyd wrote: Once again, this probably isn't a flaw but a feature!!Hi Paul, It looks like a flaw to me. I've just confirmed what you described. Templot is ultra-cautious in reminding folks to save their work, sometimes for a reason which isn't very obvious now (but clearly was at the time I wrote it). I will have a look through the code and see if I can find the cause. Thanks for reporting it. cheers, Martin. |
