Codeweavers have just announced CrossOver 20, with support for ChromeOS on Chromebook computers.

Which in theory means Templot can now run on Chromebook computers.

I've no idea whether it will or not -- in fact I don't even know what a Chromebook computer is?  :?

But somebody does, and if you have one there is a free trial of CrossOver available:

Anyone care to try it and report back?

cheers,

Martin.

A Chromebook is sort of half-way between a tablet and a Windows PC. There are lots of apps that are really just web-based. It's more like the old-fangled idea of having a relatively dumb terminal that talks to a mainframe. That removes most of the support aggravation from the end-user, or, in my case, the end-user's husband.

That's why I bought one for my wife :) And it seems to work. She seems to be able to make it do all the things she needs it to do without my help.

I'll attempt to borrow it and try Templot on it.
